Sarvasva is very active in conceptualizing and organising various platforms of design for designers, industry, academicians, students and public to interact.
Some of the forthcoming events:
1. DESIGN INTERSECT
‘Design Intersect’ will be a ‘People- Connect’ activity by Sarvasva Designs to bring design to everybody and this umbrella of smaller events will be focused primarily on bridging the gap between design and the public face of a city, creating a platform for design to meet the ‘common man’.
The events will address the introduction, the need of design as well as the various design forms that will connect with the masses.
Design Intersect will comprise exhibitions, installations, workshops and dialogues.
2. PECHA KUCHA NIGHT
Pecha Kucha (which is Japanese for the sound of conversation) has been devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham architecture), and was conceived in 2003 as a place for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. This is a demand that seems to be global – as Pecha Kucha Night, without any pushing, has spread virally to over 213 cities across the world.
Sarvasva Designs has just signed the official handshake agreement to bring Pecha Kucha officially to Pune.
